Moser's "First" Christmas

This marks Moser's "first" Christmas...last year Sever and I were in Hawai'i and Moser was being shuffled between our friends houses. This year he got his own stocking filled with tennis balls and a fancy dog bone. Once I filled it there was no turning back, he would not stop sniffing it :)

Yes, we realize that it is still Christmas Eve... however, Sever and I have a jam packed day tomorrow so we thought that we should open our gifts to each other this evening! It was nothing short of a BEAVER Christmas! Santa (Sever) brought us both Beaver football jerseys! Santa #2 (Holly) is still holding presents at the Cabela's factory...Santa really messed up this year! Good thing Sever is very understanding and will get his gifts as soon as they hit my doorstep!

Our wedding photographer met us at OSU (the place that we first met) one Sunday afternoon for our session. I really wanted fall pictues with leaves and pretty trees...we got that and so much more. The only thing we didn't get was our picture on the football field (Sever was so bummed), we did try though. We made it into the Valley Football Center and had a picture taken over looking the field. Can't wait to see the rest of the pictures!

Sever and Moser had a great time duck hunting this past week, more pictures to come when they return home next week!

Celebrating 5 years together....apart.

Today Sever and I are celebrating 5 years of being together, while being apart (insert sad face here). We are excited for Sever's work in Haines to wrap up within the next month (cross your fingers) so we can be in the same state again. If there is anything we have learned over the past five years it has been that long distance relationships are really hard, but so worth it.

Here's to many more years together!

What a great day! Today is my 25th birthday and I could not be more excited that it fell on 09/09/09! I couldn't go without posting this little message.

Wedding Dress Shopping...

It was my goal to go dress shopping at least once before going back to school, because lord knows that I will be super busy come tomorrow (the first day of school)! Well, not only did I go dress shopping once, I went twice and one walk through David's Bridal. Actually, the walk through of David's Bridal was my first introduction to wedding dresses. As soon and we walked in I was completely overwhelmed. I found nothing that I would want to try on and sadly nothing close to a bridesmaid dress color. About a week later my mom and sister and I went to Charlotte's, a cute little boutique. I found a couple of cute dresses, but mainly discovered all the things that I liked and didn't like in a dress. This past Friday, we went to Tower Bridal in Johns Landing. My sister, mom, and nanny went this time. We picked out about 6 or so dresses to try on...low and behold the last dress I tried on was the one. Sad for you that I can't disclose any of the juicy details, but trust me, it is beautiful.

I still continue my quest for the perfect bridesmaid dress color....I am not sure that the color I have pictured in my head even exists, but I will not give up!
