Fall is here!
Moser is growing like a weed, and is now done with all of his puppy check ups at the vet!!! He has discovered his love of the water and swimming, which makes for fun trips to the lake. He is quite the retriever!
On a side note, Sever and I celebrated our four year anniversary last month, can you believe it?!

Before and After...
Well, Moser is now 15 weeks old! He has learned simple dog tasks, such as "sit," "stay," and "come." He is also learning to love the water. The past couple weekends we have spent at the coast, allowing Moser the freedom to run around without his leash.
Before and After:
All in all we are having a great time with Moser, he has been so much fun! We are sad that the summer is coming to an end, but are really looking forward to football season! GO BEAVS! Moser is already a beaver fan, notice his orange collar! We will keep you updated with Moser and all the other fun things we are up to.

Welcome Moser!
Well it has been a week since we brought our chocolate lab Moser home. Over the past week we have learned a lot about puppies...they sleep all the time, pee where ever they want- when ever they want, and lastly they are stinking cute.
Moser had his first visit to the vet and weighed in at 9.8 pounds, he is growing like a weed!

Time for an Update
Well, I finally graduated from the University of Portland with my Master of Arts in Teaching degree!!! It was an intense year and both Sever and I couldn't be more excited for it to end. I am currently subbing for the balance of the school year, it is nice to finally get paid for teaching! Sever and I will be moving in June to Newberg, we found a house there that will let us get a puppy. A puppy will be a lot of work, but we are ready for it. Sever has been trying to find a puppy, we have yet to find one.

This past weekend Sever and I headed to Ketchikan, to see his family, and of course to go fishing. We got into town Friday night, and were greeted by Sever's mom and dad, sister, grandma, and grandpa. The next morning Sever, Jan, Meghan, and I got up at 5:30am to go fishing. Before we headed out on the boat we went and signed up for salmon derby tickets. On our way out of town we decided to draw straws for the first fish, lucky for me I drew first place in the batting order. By 9am, we had our first fish on. Being a king salmon amateur, I needed a trusty fishing coach, Sever excitedly took on the role. He coached me through the "reel up, reel down, keep your tip up, don't reel towards the fish..." process and I finally landed a 16.7 pound king salmon.
We had a great day out on the boat, but unfortunately only caught one fish. We made it back just in time for the graduation BBQ with Sever's extended family. Both Meghan and I graduated with our MAT and Sever's cousin, Nicci, graduated from high school. The next day Sever, Jan, and I headed out fishing, again at 5:30am. By 9am Sever had landed his first king salmon of the season, at this point we were hoping that unlike the day before we would catch another fish after 9am. Since fishing locations are top secret, I must not spill the beans~ we were out in the open ocean however when we encountered a pod of killer whales. We stayed out until sundown, Jan caught a fish on the evening bite.
We had a great trip and are excited for our big move and future pup! Hope everyone is doing well and we hope to write again soon!
